Since 1974, Irin M. Powell has been a pioneer in the moving industry in the Cayman Islands. In 1982, IMP Agency Ltd. was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Irin M. Powell with just one additional employee, operating out of a modest 1,500-square-foot facility. The business was created to meet the growing demand for relocation services during the financial boom in the islands.

From those humble beginnings, IMP has grown alongside the Cayman Islands’ economy. Today, we are proud to celebrate over 50 years of successful operations—thanks to Mr. Powell’s vision and leadership. The company remains under the direction of the Powell family and now employs over 25 full-time staff, operating from a modern 12,500-square-foot, customs-bonded facility.
